DX Reverb Light, plug-in software for PC and MAC, is a reduced version of DX Reverb and uses one algorithm out of the 11 in DX Reverb. It is often desirable to create a reverberation effect for recorded or live music. Even though a number of systems have been developed to facilitate or simulate reverberation, the DX Reverb Light offers quality and flexibility as it allows you to simulate from small rooms with sudden attacks and coloration characteristic of small spaces to large natural-sounding spaces with spread attack and build of a concert hall.
Digital reverberators use various signal processing algorithms to create the reverb effect. The DX Reverb Light has only one simplified algorithm which is a highly optimized DSP code to get a good quality smooth sound. Some of the main features of this pug-in includes, true stereo reverbs, 64-bit internal precision, ultra clean and noiseless processing. The 24 presets available with this ranges from small room dark/bright to large room dark/bright , hall, chapel and all other possible places for you to choose. There is a built-in preset manager and the facility for manual insertion of value of control parameters for the Windows (Direct X) version. No MIDI support.
Good interface: simple and uncluttered. The system is stable and less burden on CPU. The version 2.0 has come up with some bug fixed for CPU usage and some on the GUI. SAW Studio format and VST format for PC and Mac are also introduced in the latest version.
DX Reverb light is a plug-in which has Smooth body, light and yet powerful and refreshing sound quality.
